Message they say that as the width increases there is a bigger pressure drop and the IC flows less right ? Here are their specs from this page [ http://www.bellintercoolers.com/Pages/core.asp?action=Cat_detail&u_item=3 ]

Ic core = 3.5 inches thick

Width - side to side flow (B)- this is how the air flows
Height - (C)

W 8.1 20.9 24
H 8 8 8
CFM 286 740 848

so how come the CFM is increasing at a linear rate ? It seems that going from a 8 inch wide ic to 24 inch wide Ic results virtually NO CFM loss. Also read this Quote >>>

"Air flow for each core, shown in cubic feet per minute (CFM, based on 1 psig pressure loss across the intercooler core and a charge-air pressure of 10 psig), is listed along with the core dimensions and core weight."

Essentially saying the same think - exactly Identical pressure loss regardless of width

dunno man - seems like Bell is contradicting their FAQ
